This is a 9ct solid gold Gower whelk shell necklace which Pa-pa has formed from casting of a real baby whelk shell from Llangennith Beach, Gower, South Wales.
This is not a dipped or plated shell, it is a solid gold shell and chain with hallmarking. Shell is Approx 1.5cm long and hangs on a 16inch solid 9ct gold franco chain 1.4mm thick 5.9g
