As a small child Pa-pa spent every weekend at the beach or along our rocky shores exploring rockpools with fishing nets, catching shrimps and shore crabs for inspection before returning them to their natural habitat under rocks and seaweed. This solid silver baby shore crab has a lovely sea blue manmade opal or turquoise bead set in its claws. This is a lovely reminder of days spent with the family at the beach learning about the wonderful and fascinating creatures that inhabit the sea.
This charm has a large hoop link at its top to allow it to be thread onto thicker chains as seen in the main photograph on a bracelet or necklace.
