Pa-pa has been rediscovering her love of painting through these local Gower coastal landscapes. . This is a print of an original wave study by Pa-pa painted on location while sat in the sand dunes at Llangennith looking out towards Worm's Head, Gower. For the surfer, painter and designer maker, this is her happy place.
Worm's Head is an island promontery at the most westerly point of the Gower Peninsular. From here you can see the Pembrokeshire coast to the North, the Welsh hills and farmed Valleys to the East and Devon's Northern coastline to the South on a clear day. The sandy beach at Rhossili and Llangennith stretches for miles and faces direct West which enables waves from the Irish Sea to pulse through to this beautiful bay, popular with surfers.
