Gower Rockpool ring made by Pa-pa in Parkmill

Gower silversmith Pa-pa spends a lot of her spare time rock pooling around the rocky reefs of Gower looking to find marine life to photograph and film. Pa-pa was  inspired to make this unique Rockpool ring, a few years after studying 3D metalwork design and craft. The ring is made in solid silver with moonstone or opal, the top of the crab shell is hinged to reveal a small compartment. The original Rockpool collection from 1994. hosts a variety of brittle starfish shore crabs, mussel shells and barnacle rings, brooches necklaces and bracelets, which still proves popular today almost 30 years on. see more
